Complete Recovery from Hashimoto’s Disease

A 34-year-old patient came to us with back pain and dizziness and was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease. We quote verbatim what the patient herself said:

“After three months of treatment, I fully recovered not only from the issue of thyroid, but also from pain and dizziness. I was very surprised when I saw that my test went from 600 to 9 compared to 30 which is the normal one! Thank you very much.”

Descriptions of Patients, History, Symptoms, Other Treatments

Elena, a 34-year-old, came with back pains, high blood pressure (140-100cm), dizziness caused by neck movements, history of hypertension and heart failure. She also had a lump in the back, which had been diagnosed as lipoma.

Her examination showed anti -T. P. O. over 600, a diagnostic value for Hashimoto’s disease. Hashimoto is an autoimmune thyroiditis in which the body itself manufactures antibodies, which are directed against the thyroid itself and slowly destroy it.

These are the patient’s own words:

“I had visited the clinic in December 2020 with severe dizziness when moving my neck, back pains and high blood pressure.
“To my surprise, the doctor asked me to do a thyroid test, something that no one had mentioned to me before. When the test results came, I saw that they were 20 times above normal, and I panicked.”

What is Hashimoto’s Disease

Hashimoto's Disease Symptoms

Thyroiditis is an inflammation of the thyroid. Hashimoto is the most common form of thyroiditis. It is an autoimmune disease, in which the body produces antibodies that are directed against the thyroid.

While normally antibodies are directed only against pathogenic viruses and microbes, in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis the body mistakenly detects thyroid cells as pathogens and destroys them.

Depending on the volume of the damage that occurs, the ability of the thyroid to produce thyroxine is reduced. Many who suffer from this disease have an underactive thyroid and need thyroxine administration to maintain this hormone at normal levels.

If they do not receive replacement therapy with thyroxine, they may experience a swelling in the throat, which may be painful and create problems in swallowing or breathing.

Symptoms of Hashimoto’s Disease

Other problems that the lack of thyroxine can create due to an underactive gland (hypothyroidism) include:

In its early stages, Hashimoto can manifest itself with symptoms of hyperthyroidism. This condition is called Hashitoxicosis and occurs with a feeling of heat, tachycardia, restlessness, tremor, sweat and weight loss.

Diagnosis and Test Results

Hashimoto's Diagnosis

The diagnosis was made by the high titer of antithyroid antibodies anti -T. P. O. which were over 600 and left no doubts that this was Hashimoto autoimmune thyroiditis. Pains in neck movements and increased pressure supported the diagnosis.

Then, we measured the concentration of toxic heavy metals in the urine and followed the protocol by sampling. In a second phase, we administered a labial agent, a substance that stimulates the excretion of heavy metals from the urine, and we measured again the concentration of 21 heavy metals. concentration of mercury and lead.

The high amounts of aluminum in her body is an important factor that can bring about a toxic effect on the thyroid.

We checked via specialized tests the state of the intestine and the existence of inflammation. From the undigested food metabolites, it was found that there is malabsorption in triglycerides.

With fecal culture, it was found that there the potentially pathogenic bacterium Klebsiella existed in high concentration in the intestine.

Detailed Treatment Plan

Therapeutically, the patient was rehabilitated from aluminum and cadmium, and was given instructions to avoid the intake of these heavy metals. In addition, the immune system was strengthened.

Therapeutically, we gave suitable treatment for the eradication of klebsiella, and it was recommended to avoid gluten and casein (protein present in milk).

Treatment Results

The patient was completely cured from autoimmune thyroiditis, which was confirmed by the low titer of anti-T. P. O., which went from 600 fell to 9. Symptoms of hypertension and back pain subsided.

The treatment regimen was not focused on the affected organ (thyroid), but rather on the root cause of the disease, correcting the toxic agents that caused inflammation (the pathogenic gut microbes), hypersensitivity (the cadmium) and toxic action due to hyper concentration (aluminum). The result was the restoration of thyroid function.
